Room 8's Sewing Class at Edgewater College

It was Wednesday 29 August and Room 8 was having their last sewing class with Mrs Scott and Miss Barrot at Edgewater College.
When I uncovered Bernina which is the sewing machine, I started to thread the machine when I accidently pushed down the pedal and suddenly jammed the machine, but I fortunately was able to fix it.
In our last sewing class of the term, each member of my class (Room 8) completed our  money purses using decorative stitches instead of functional stitches. Our money purses were not quite completed on the last day because they needed to have the domes put on to make them close. I have learnt that when in the sewing technology class there are rules which are very important. These are some of the important rules of sewing.
When you are in the sewing room:

  1. You have to make sure your hair is tied up unless you want your hair to be the thread of your money purse.
  2. You are not allowed to have any snacks while sewing.
  3. When threading the machine you have to make sure the plug is off unless you want to stitch your finger.
  4. You have to make sure the room is tidy at all times.
  5. When wanting to make pretty designs you use decorative stitches and when you want to make a normal design you use functional stitches.
  6. You must follow the directions of the instructor.

Those sound like very important rules to have in sewing room Naanise. It sounds like you really enjoyed learning all about using a Bernina!
